The differences between hand and made soaps

With traditional procedures that keep all the natural ingredients remain fully intact, a bar of hand-made soap is rich in substances that provide essential nourishment. Free from all artificial hardening chemicals and detergents, hand-made soaps contain natural ingredients such as olive oil or coconut oils and any other natural emollients to improve as many beneficial factors to overall skin as can be. Some may include various kinds of herbs or essential oils to enhance the soap’s therapeutic property. Unlike a bar of commercial soap, a home-made bar is undoubtedly pH-balanced and environmentally friendly thanks to all the natural disposable ingredients.

All aforementioned procedures make a bar of hand-made soap retain a far higher percentage of natural glycerin than the bars processed by a means of commercial soap production. Unfortunately, having a rather soluble, soft consistency and a relatively short lifespan with little amount of soapy bubbles produced makes a hand-made bar unlikely to please the majority of people. As a matter of fact, natural glycerin lends directly to our skin a countless number of moisturizing and nourishing benefits. On the other hand, a bar of commercial soap contains little natural glycerin because it is often removed in commercial soap production to be sold separately to other cosmetics companies due to it being a highly lucrative and demanded substance. What finally leaves from a factory is somewhat an unnaturally long-lasting, detergent-infused, exquisitely solid bar of soap that will leave skin feeling unmoisturized and, worse, chemically covered.
